Youth Rites of Passage Info Session

  • Waldorf School 1350 McLean Blvd Eugene, OR 97405 (map)

Have you or someone you know been thinking about a rite of passage for your son or daughter? Interested, but have questions or concerns? Does your child wish to hear first hand from another youth about their experience?

Join us for an information session about the rites of passage experience for youth ages 14-18. Our coming of age wilderness programs provide a healthy, safe, challenging, and soul-filling experience that helps mark the much needed community-witnessed and supported transition from child to young adult.

If you are interested or have been thinking about it, now is the time to begin the enrollment process while the limited spaces are still available.

This info session is located downstairs in the main building at the Waldorf School. Open to all members of the community. Please arrive early so we can begin on time.

See you there!!

Some quotes from our initiated young adults:

“It’s not like a summer camp. It’s not a bunch of games. It’s about deeply learning about yourself. When my friends ask me, I just tell them, ‘You have to do it next year.’”

“I was expecting it to be super hippie, but actually it was really intense (but erring on the side of hippie).”

“I feel like I found myself after being lost for a very long time. I am loving the parts of myself that I haven’t been able to embrace easily.”

“I realized the influence I have on other peoples’ lives. The confidence I gained by being out there alone for two days was insane, mind-blowing!”
