Council - A Practice of Connection and Affirmation

  • Alton Baker Park 200 Day Island Rd Eugene, OR, 97401 United States (map)

What the heck is council?

Council is a connective practice in which people take turns listening and speaking from the heart. Each person receives an allotted time to speak, uninterrupted, about their experience. Usually, people are given a prompt or subject to talk about, but sometimes it is just open to what is alive in each person.

This practice can be hugely satisfying and connective; in fact, it is one of the cornerstones of our vision fast programs!

Distancing protocols will be implemented. Bring warm clothes, water, and maybe a blanket or chair for extra comfort. We will be under a shelter one in Alton Baker Park (just south of the first parking lot, southeast of the Ferry Street Bridge, near bike path)..
