On Saturday, May 6 at the Amazon Community Center Main Hall in Eugene, Oregon, Rob Miller, executive director and lead guide for Cascadia Quest, will discuss the challenges and frustrations parents so often encounter in raising teens–including contemporary issues related to pandemic impacts, climate crisis, technology and social media–while normalizing these challenges within the context of his work as a rites of passage wilderness guide. Rob will share share tips and strategies for moving beyond struggle to a place supportive of the young person’s maturation into young adulthood. He will also give ideas and options for creating or taking part in a rite of passage for your teen.
